How It Works

At Healing Heroes Saunas, our mission is to support our heroes—veterans, police officers, firefighters, and first responders—by offering therapeutic heat and cold therapy experiences. Here's how our process works:

1. Target Market

We prioritize heroes who are experiencing challenges such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, or physical ailments that hinder their ability to maintain physical health. Our prioritization criteria include:​

  • Combat Veterans with Service-Connected Disabilities: Those who have sustained injuries or conditions during active duty.​

  • Police Officers and Firefighters with Service-Connected Disabilities: Active or former personnel facing health challenges due to their service.​

  • Non-Combat Heroes with Similar Disabilities: Individuals who, while not in direct combat, have incurred service-related health issues.​

  • Heroes Seeking Therapeutic Benefits: Those interested in utilizing sauna and cold therapy as a healing modality rather than solely for leisure.​

  • Proximity to Lakeville, MN: Heroes residing within a 30-mile radius to facilitate service delivery.​

  • Suitable Hosting Location: Availability of a viable spot to accommodate a mobile sauna.​

  • First-Time Recipients: Heroes who have not previously received a mobile sauna from our organization.

Please note: Currently, there is no formal application process. We are actively developing procedures to better serve our community.

4. Post-Use Evaluation

At the conclusion of your usage period:​

  • Pickup: Josh or Mike will retrieve the sauna from your location.​

  • Feedback Session: We will ask for your insights on the experience, including:​

    • Frequency of use​

    • Whether you used it with family or friends​

    • Perceived healing benefits​

    • Willingness to provide a testimonial or review​

    • Interest in a permanent on-site sauna installation

5. Permanent Sauna Installations

If you're interested in having a sauna permanently installed at your residence:​

  • Consultation: Reach out to discuss potential on-site sauna construction.​

  • Fundraising Support: We are developing fundraising campaigns to assist in subsidizing personal sauna builds in partnership with Healing Heroes Saunas.

2. Initiating the Process

Starting your healing journey with us is straightforward:​

  • Contact Us: Reach out to Josh at (651) 472-7504 to begin the conversation.​

  • Initial Discussion: During this call, Josh will gather basic information and discuss your needs. No immediate decisions will be made during this initial contact.

3. Scheduling and Delivery

Once selected and dates are confirmed:​

  • Delivery: We will deliver one of our mobile saunas and cold plunge tubs to your residence.​

  • Orientation: Josh or Mike will guide you through the setup process, including instructions on starting the fire and addressing any questions.​

  • Supplies: We provide approximately two weeks' worth of firewood, though actual usage may vary based on frequency and duration of use.
